the overall challenge i had with starting out in a new and unfamiliar area was 2-fold: 1. Even though i had a lot of ideas, dreams and wishes, i didn't have the experience or the technical knowhow or clarity to make it all come together, and 2. Finding super-professional people who are also super-conscientious, trustworthy and kind, with whom you can entrust your time, ressources and the details of a cherished project, seemed like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack. So, in summation, i would say the biggest challenge was feeling vulnerable: vulnerable because of not knowing anything about IT and the tech of it all, and vulnerable about sharing my project with someone i did not yet know could be absolutely trusted.

The biggest win by far, is that Mie has built a solid foundation for me and my brand, that is both beautiful and useful here and now, as well as adaptable to future needs and expansion. I'm really proud to share my website and feel it accurately represents my brand, and i get so much positive feedback.

What very quickly became apparent, and to my enormous relief, was, that the details and succes of my project was as important to Mie as it was to myself, and consequently she was willing and able to make some very accurate judgments along the way, and be discerning in a decisive way that was very respectful to my brand. Thanks to her expertise and dedication, i felt i was in good hands every step of the way, and just as important, avoided temporary solutions and half-baked measures, and instead ended up with something that is thoroughly useful and buildable, and probably will be, for many years to come.
